Sample Answer 1

Introduction

Being an altruist, I love to help others. And I find extreme happiness in providing support to senior citizens and children because they require it the most.

When was it?

One year back, I saw a child crying in the market.

How did you help him?

He told me that he could not find his parents when I approached him. I immediately tried to help him. Firstly, I asked for his parent’s mobile numbers, but he did not have that with him.

Then I asked him about his address; he had a vague idea. I took him in my car and went to search his house. Since he was a six-year-old kid, he could not provide me with full details, and our efforts went in vain.

After that, I asked him about his school. Luckily he had full details, and we immediately rushed to his school and from there, we got his full details. I called his parents, and they came to pick him up.

Finally, the child had a sigh of relief.

Why did you help him?

I helped him because he was a small kid, and for him finding his parents was a daunting task.

How did you feel about it?

I felt good about myself because I saved a child’s future by reuniting him with his family. The smile that the family had after the reunion made my day.

Moreover, the whole experience was significant learning for me, and it taught me that during challenging times we need to remain calm because it helps us handle conflicts adroitly.

Sample Answer 2

Introduction

Being a fun-loving person, I love to spend time with kids. Recently I had an occasion when I provided unabated support to a child of my township.

When it was?

Three months back, the local authorities imposed a stringent lockdown in my city due to the corona pandemic.

Since our area had maximum infections in our city, the concerned authorities sealed our township.

Due to that, the movement of people didn’t happen in our society for one week.

During that time, I got a call from my next-door neighbour, and he told me that his six-year-old son was alone at home and I needed to take care of him in his absence. I immediately said yes.

How did you help him/her?

I brought the child to my home. We had a gala time together. We did a lot of fun activities and played numerous games. He eas feeling lonely in the absence of his family, to uplift his mood I cooked his favourite food items.

Why did you help him/her?

I helped him for two reasons. Firstly it is our bounded duty to help our neighbours. When we provide unstinted support to our near our dear ones, we strengthen the bond, and in case of any unforeseen contingency, there are many people to support us.

And how did you feel about it?

I felt good because I felt nostalgic while playing with that child. My childhood was back for that one week, and the quality time spent with him would always remain etched in my memories.
