Introduction
There is no denying this conviction that sky and stars fascinate everyone, and they wish to watch them and know more about them. However, fierce competition has become an integral part of our lives in this contemporary epoch. Due to this, people run from pillar to post to earn money, and they do not get time to watch stars.
However, I got an opportunity to watch and observe the stars.
When did you observe the stars?
Last year I observed the stars.
Where and with whom you went with?
My grandfather was unwell. To provide him with unabated support, my father went to my hometown.
What did you observe?
On my second day of the stay, there was a power cut. I tried hard but didn’t get sleep due to the hot weather. During that time, my father suggested me to have sleep on the rooftop.
As the air conditioner was not working, I followed his advice and slept on the rooftop. There my eyes caught the stars. I started counting them, but they were innumerable, so I stopped after a while.
I realized that differentiating the stars is a daunting task upon close observation. After a while, my father joined me, and he explained in detail. Luckily for us, the bright planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn were visible that day, and I observed them closely. And after listening to him, I could differentiate between stars and planets.
And explain how you felt when you saw the stars.?
After watching the stars, I realized that no doubt, human beings have made advancements through technology, but as far as space exploration is concerned, there is a lot more work to do.
Our knowledge regarding stars and planets is limited, and it will take us ages to garner sufficient knowledge regarding them.

Introduction
Since my childhood, the sky and the stars have fascinated me. I vividly remember my childhood days, when I would watch the stars closely for hours and hours.
However, after turning adult, I didn’t get many chances to observe the sky. Recently I got an opportunity to watch stars, and I made good use of it.
When did you observe the stars?
Last month I observed the stars closely through a telescope.
Where and with whom you went with?
I went to the science city Kapurthala for a knowledge tour. We are about eighty people in the group, and all were enthusiastic about gaining information regarding the stars and the planets.
Luckily we met a seasoned astronomer over there, and he made our tour fruitful by providing us with a boatload of information about the sky and stars.
What did you observe?
The first thing we observed was how to differentiate between a star and a planet. For an amateur, they look the same, but there is a vast difference between them.
Then the astronomer helped us look at the prominent stars of the Milky Way galaxy, and he provided us with details of our neighbour, Andromeda galaxy.
And explain how you felt when you saw the stars.?
The overall experience was enchanting because I learned about various heavenly bodies like Sun, stars, satellites, planets, comets, asteroids, and meteoroids.
Apart from this, I also gained knowledge of space exploration, like how the astronomers survive in space and how humans could colonize Mars.
The knowledge I acquired that day would always remain etched in my memories.

I watched a Hollywood movie named “The Martian,” in which one member of a spaceship gets detached from the other members. The rest of the astronauts believe e that he has died, but after some time, they come to know that he is alive.
That person tries his best to survive by growing plants and vegetables on Mars. But all his efforts go in vain due to a dust storm. The NASA team sends another spaceship for his rescue from planet earth, and finally, after many ordeals, the lost astronaut comes back to earth.
This story tells us never to lose hope and to remain hopeful to handle the conflicts adroitly.
Q3. Do you think children should be told planet stories to improve their imagination?
Yes, because knowing about the plants generate curiosity. Such development would make the current generation and the posterity more interested in space exploration. And there is no denying this conviction that the people of planet earth need to take a giant leap to explore the universe.
Q4. Would children be benefited from watching stars?
Yes, children get numerous benefits from watching stars. Their curiosity about the universe and outer space strengthens, boosting their creativity. With the world getting serious about space exploration, they could make a decent career in this field.
Q5. Would you like to watch movies on planets?
Since childhood, I have had this uncanny knack for watching movies that make me think beyond the conventional domain. Due to this habit, I have watched numerous movies on aliens, spaceships, planets, galaxies, and other space-related fields.
By watching such movies, I feel enlightened and get inspiration that I might visit some other planet one day.
Q6. Did you like to watch the sky when you were young?
My interest in watching the sky has been there since childhood, and despite my busy schedule, there has been no decline. Whenever I visit my farmhouse, I watch the sky. In the scorching heat of summers, I prefer to sleep on the rooftop and watch stars and planets.
Q7. Does space exploration interest you?
It interests me because it is an unexplored field. Although we have made tremendous inventions because of science and technology, our knowledge of the sky and space is limited.
The study of space exploration can provide us with significant inputs to get knowledge of the universe. Due to this reason, I have an immense interest in this field.
Q8.Why do we have limited knowledge of the sky?
As far as the sky is concerned, we do not have much knowledge because science has not done enough to explore it. Although technology has made many breakthroughs, our space information is confined to our solar system. The universe is massive, and the technology needs a quantum leap to decipher it.
Q9.When does the sky look best to you?
The sky looks best to me during the rainbow. The unique colour pattern looks mesmerising, and it seems like the heavenly gods are coming down to planet earth to bless us.
