Introduction

It is intuitively true that people from all walks of life relish chocolates. And due to this reason, it has become an integral part of all cuisines.

Numerous chefs worldwide are leaving no stone unturned to produce different flavours of chocolate. That is why there are so many varieties of chocolates available these days; however, a decade back, only a handful of options were there.

Although I like most chocolate varieties, I recently tasted a new flavour that I did not like.

What was it?

It was chocolate which was a fusion of chocolate and pineapple.

When did you taste it?

Last week one of my friends invited me to his birthday party. Since he wanted to make the event memorable, he went beyond the conventional domain and arranged different dishes altogether.

I liked most of the mouth-watering delicacies he offered, and I was not too fond of the chocolate.

How it taste like?

Its taste was bitter because the chef combined the dark chocolate with pineapple. He was of the impression that he had made an incredible offering, but the end product was awful.

And explain why you didn’t like it?

I didn’t like it because chocolate tastes good with sweetness inside. By removing the sweet component, we are playing with its essence.

The other guests also expressed solidarity with my review, and we applauded the efforts of the chef to produce something different. Still, we advised him to improvise the taste by replacing pineapple with something else.

Sample Answer 2

Introduction

Since my childhood, I have been fond of eating chocolate after lunch and dinner. I have tasted many varieties of chocolate and like most of them. Two years back, I tasted chocolate which I didn’t like.

What was it?

It was a bar of chocolate which I made myself. Since I am a novice at cooking, due to that, I made awful chocolate.

When did you taste it?

In 2020 due to the corona pandemic, the local administration imposed a stringent lockdown. Due to that, people remain confined to their homes for six months.

There was an acute shortage of food products due to a demand-supply mismatch. As I didn’t have chocolate to eat, I tried to make it at home.

I watched numerous videos on Youtube to search for an easy-to-cook recipe. Finally, I found one, and I made a bar of chocolate by using the prescribed ingredients.

However, to my dismay, I didn’t like it.

What did it taste like?

Its taste was bitter, and after two bites, I threw the rest of the chocolate in the dustbin.

And explain why you didn’t like it?

I was not too fond of it because, in the enthusiasm of making chocolate at home, I messed with the ingredients and made an awful sweet.

The main reason behind the sour taste was that I chose to go for making dark chocolate as I wanted to cook a healthy one. Due to that, I didn’t use much sugar. The bitter taste of cocoa powder overpowered the sugar content, and the result was a bar of chocolate that was not fit for human beings’ consumption.
