Describe an introvert person

Who the person is?
How well do you know him/her?
What makes him/her introverted?
And explain how you feel about this person?

Sample Answer 1

Introduction

Although I have many buddies who are extroverts, my bosom friend is an introvert.

Who is the person?

He is my friend and neighbor, Andrew.

How well do you know him?

We are all-weather friends, and we provide each other with unabated support, whether it is a purple patch or lean patch going on in our lives.

Moreover, we know each other’s strengths and weaknesses, due to this reason, we usually spend our weekends together so that we can improve ourselves by taking feedback from each other.

What makes him introverted?

He is an introvert because he has this uncanny knack for spending his free time in solitude. According to him, when he talks to people for a long time, he loses his willpower, and his performance at his work and his study declines.

Moreover, he remains busy throughout the day, and he researches new topics in his field of study. His habit of doing tasks with determination, dedication, and discipline leaves less time at his disposal to interact with others.

And explain how you feel about this person?

I feel good about him because his introverted nature helps him handle the conflicts adroitly. Because he never indulges in unnecessary discussions and arguments.

Moreover, the career he has opted for doesn’t require him to interact with clients. Therefore, his introverted nature is not affecting his work performance.

His central focus always remains on his work, and there is no denying this conviction that his introverted nature would lead his career towards an impressive growth trajectory.

Sample Answer 2

Introduction

Being an extrovert person, I love to interact with people. I have a friend who is an introvert.

Who is the person?

This person is my neighbour. Her name is Dr Rimple Sharma. She interacts less with others and maintains a dignified distance from others.

How well do you know her?

As both of us are voracious readers, we share similar interests. Whenever I need some information on a book recommended by her, we meet, and she provides me with valuable input.

Although our behaviour is introverted towards others, whenever she interacts with me, she turns an ambivert and shares the information with me in a consummate manner.

What makes her introverted?

She is introverted because the heaps’ of knowledge and experience at her disposal have taught her that silence is gold. According to her, to handle our conflicts adroitly, we need a boatload of willpower which is a limited resource.

Whenever we talk at length on any given topic, we decline the willpower we possess, and that nosedives our performance substantially. Hence, having a central focus on work helps us work with determination, dedication and discipline to lead our lives towards an impressive growth trajectory.

She has shared with me that remaining introverted has worked like a charm for her because it helps us stay away from the neighbourhood conflicts, and her central focus is always on her work.

And explain how you feel about this person?

I think she has got enough success in life but is socially isolated. Instead of remaining introverted, she should become an ambivert. It will help her behave according to the situation and bridge the gap, she has with people.

Follow up Questions

A shy person often doesn’t communicate well with strangers but talks comfortably to their near and dear ones. Introverts, on the other hand, have this uncanny knack of remaining in solitude for a sizeable part of the day. Communication with someone is a daunting task.

2. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

I am a combination of both, which is called an ambivert. According to the situation, I change my personality. On the other hand, with those who spread negativity, I maintain a dignified distance and behave like an introvert.

3. Is the number of introverts on an incline.?

With the advent of technology, there has been a significant rise in the number of introverts. The overuse of smartphones and gadgets has reduced crucial face-to-face interactions dramatically.
