Sample 1

In this modern era, fierce competition has become integral to our lives. It is worthwhile to work and study in a way that works. There are various techniques that people follow. I also follow one method, which has worked like a charm.

The approach follows the circadian rhythm. So that means that God has created day and night, and we need to work accordingly. Following the circadian rhythm helps me a lot because I follow a strict pattern that I work during the daytime.

I start my day at sunrise by drinking a glass of water, walking, and studying during the daytime. I do most of my work and work early before lunch because that is when you have the highest willpower. Then I take a break between 2 and 3 pm because that is when my willpower is low, and after that, I work and finish my day at 7; after that, I spend time with my family and hit bed at 10.

I feel perfect whenever I do this routine because aligning with nature works like a charm, bringing out the best in you. Moreover, working with this routine, my negativity goes for a toss, and I enjoy my whole day.

So, this routine is essential for me, and it is something that I regularly practice. I always encourage my near and dear ones to follow it. Some have listened to my advice, and their life has experienced a paradigm shift.

Sample 2

Although I do numerous activities to work and study better, one of them is highly interesting, and hence, it is worth mentioning. It is making the bed every day, and I do it every morning and every afternoon. In the morning, when I wake up, the first thing I do is make my bed.

I arrange the bed sheets, the mattresses, and the pillows and keep my room spic and span; it helps me because, first of all, it gives me a feeling that the sleeping time is over, and now I need to embark on my journey to make my day a productive one.

Moreover, it keeps the room neat and clean, and when I do it as a practice, I clean the other parts of the room to make it look good. And I feel good about it because it increases my willpower. Because if you do a task in the morning, your tendency to complete other tasks in the stipulated time also increases.

Apart from this, it helps me kickstart my day with a big task, and after that, I go to work in the afternoon. Also, I take a nap, and after the nap, I do the same activity. And it works for me.

I learned about it because I read a book called Make Your Bed, in which it is written that even the American Navy prescribes it to its officers. As a routine, whenever they recruit a new person in the Navy, they occasionally check whether that person makes his bed. This activity works like a charm for me, and I will pursue it for the rest of my life.

Sample 3

Various people do various activities to help them work and study better. I do something very different: I follow my circadian rhythm, meaning I do all my tasks between sunrise and sunset.

And to do this, I wake up at sunrise at around 5 am every day. After that,
I do the important tasks, and I finish them by 10 am. After that, I do the routine tasks and finish all my work by 7 pm. So that I can go for sound sleep at 10 pm, I practice it every day, and it helps me a lot because it is an activity that aligns with nature.

And when you do so, the best of you comes out. Moreover, this activity keeps me fit as a fiddle. Because I do not remain sleep-deprived, I get enough vitamin D. My digestive system remains in good shape. It is a charm for me, and everyone should follow this practice.

Sample 4

I do different things regularly, but one of my favorite things is to go to the gym, which I do periodically. Firstly, I wake up in the morning at 4 o’clock and go to the gym with my friends.

There, I do many exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, etc. And it helps me concentrate on my studies better because I feel very relaxed whenever I go to the gym. It has also become beneficial for my muscles.

My muscles have become more robust. Every person should do that type of exercise because it is beneficial for their holistic development.

Nowadays, I watch that most people thrive primarily on these exercises, which become helpful for every person. Currently, I can lift heavy loads, which is very fruitful for me. I do it at my farm and help my grandfather make heavy loads. And that’s what I like, and it is beneficial for me to concentrate on other things.

Sample 5

I do many things regularly in my life, and the best thing I do to keep my body fit is regular exercise and workout on the ground. I mostly go to Fragrance Park and work out in the open field, and the surroundings are very beautiful.

There are a lot of trees and different kinds of flowers which attract me the most. The people who come there are friendly and exercise with me, so it always makes me more energetic. Morning workouts and exercise always keep my body fit and healthy, and they also keep my diet.

It always enhances my performance in work and studies because I always feel more achieved towards my goal. It also makes me confident because, with the daily workout, our body gets more attractive, and people like to praise us. Whenever I go to work, people encourage me to do this kind of exercise daily, and I make this routine daily.

Follow-ups

Here are some examples of follow-up questions that the examiner might ask during your speaking part 3 related to the cue card “Describe something you do regularly that helps you work and study better  ”.

1. What kinds of jobs need patience?

Most jobs need patience. However, some require an enhanced amount of patience, which are the jobs of a surgeon or technician and people in the salon business. So, these people need to have immense patience because a slight drop in this attribute jeopardizes their work.

4. What is the routine of people in your country?

In my country, the routine changes from age to age. The youngsters have a simple exercise: they go to work, and in the evening, they enjoy
