Sample Answer 1

Being a nature enthusiast, I believe in converting waste into something productive. And many times, I have picked unused things from the street and refurbished them to produce something good.

So last month, one of my neighbors threw his old printer into the dustbin, and I picked it up by getting permission from him. He said he didn’t need it. So that’s why I picked it up. After picking it up, I did the entire operation of that.

I opened it, and after opening it, I realized that the problem was with the cartridge. Since the new cartridge was unavailable, I made an alternate plan. I repaired the old cartridge, and after that, I purchased the ink bottles from the market. I watched a YouTube video of the entire process of repairing the cartridge. So, with a syringe, I inserted the ink into the cartridge.

To my surprise, it worked like a charm, and after a hard effort of two hours, I made it run, and the feeling was incredible for two reasons.

Firstly, I did something creative, like an item thrown by someone. I somehow managed to fix it. Another reason for feeling good was that I saved a lot of money because that kind of printer costs around $15,00 per the current market price. So I saved a lot of money.

Sample Answer 2

I love to keep the area where I live spic and span. Due to this reason, I don’t like it when people throw litter here and there, and today, I would like to talk about an incident when someone threw rubbish on the road, and I picked it up. It was inside my township two months back when a group of youngsters organized a party at their home, and after the party, they threw the litter on the road near our main gate.

When I learned about this incident, I immediately went there and picked up the rubbish because it was unattended on the road. I picked it up, threw it in the dustbin, and made a video; after that, I posted it on our township’s WhatsApp group.

Many comments came from people residing in the complex, and most were unhappy with those youngsters’ actions. After that, the resident welfare association called a meeting, and we invited those youngsters over there.

We told them that the residents’ central focus is on effectively maintaining the township so that people staying in other localities seek flashes of inspiration from us. So, we want to keep it neat and clean, and any act that could jeopardize the serenity of our complex will not be tolerated.

After listening to our discussion, the youngsters apologized and said they would not repeat it. I felt good about it because I did something that benefited my whole township now, and that day, I set a good precedent. Now, most people refrain from throwing anything inside the township, and in some cases, if someone does this, many people pick it up and throw it in the dustbin. So that’s why the complex has become a good place for people living there.

I am a nature enthusiast; I always go for a walk in the morning and the evenings, and while walking, sometimes, I come across the things people throw, and one such instance is worth mentioning. Two years back, I was walking in a park near my residence. I saw someone throw a bag full of waste in front of the park’s main gate.

I immediately picked it up. I called the local municipality people. They came there and put that big bag into their trash van. Once it was picked up, I immediately went to the electric room, where there was CCTV camera footage, and I saw the footage. From that, I learned that the bag was thrown by some youngsters who used to stay in my Township, so when I told them about the thing, they started misbehaving with me.

The police came, and they imposed a hefty fine on them. After that, those youngsters realized their mistake, and they apologized. I felt perfect about the whole experience because, with my initiative, I taught the youngsters a lesson: to keep our neighbourhood neat and clean to generate positive vibes.
