Recently one of my family members has moved to a new place worth mentioning.

Who is he?

He is my elder brother, who recently moved to Toronto.

What the new place is like

The new place is clean and pristine. First of all, it offers a cosmopolitan environment. As it is an immigrant-friendly city, people from all corners come here for work and study. My brother’s roommate is Japanese, and most colleagues are from Europe. The cafeteria he visits is full of Africans, and the amusement park where he goes for recreation has Asians working there.

Apart from this, Toronto offers good education. Its colleges are famous for imparting quality education, and due to this reason, most pass-outs get plum job offers.

Moreover, the city has various multi-speciality hospitals with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Therefore, in case of an unforeseen contingency, world-class healthcare is available.

The other thing worth noting about Toronto is that this city has the most minor crime. As a result, people move here and there with tremendous ease and have no fears regarding their belongings.

Why did he move to a new place?

He moved to Toronto for greener pastures. He is a software engineer, and his field is in huge demand. Due to this reason, he shifted there to lead his life towards an impressive growth trajectory.

His move has positively impacted me because I have started studying with determination and discipline. My brother has told me to pass my 12th standard with 90 per cent marks, and if I achieve this goal, he will invite me to Canada to study. The target he has given me has brought a paradigm shift in my attitude, and I have become a hardworking person.

Apart from this, the constant burning of petrol and diesel leads to pollution and due to this the air quality in the urban areas has declined considerably. Moreover, the fruits and vegetables available in cities are full of chemicals, and due to this reason, the percentage of people with health problems is inclining considerably.

My friend has shifted to the countryside area to live a happy and healthy life. His home is in the middle of farms, and he doesn’t need to eat frozen food because he gets freshly picked vegetables and fruits from farms and orchards. Moreover, he doesn’t have to deal with traffic congestion because of less movement of vehicles. He works for an IT company in a work-from-home profile, so his migration to a village has not hampered his work.

His move has had a positive impact on me because every weekend, I visit him and spend time in the clean and pristine environment of the countryside.

There is no denying this conviction that in this modern era, there is fierce competition, so quality education is of utmost importance to lead our careers toward an impressive growth trajectory. Chandigarh City has numerous schools, colleges, and universities. Apart from this, coaching for various competitive exams is available. My brother wants his kids to be successful. That’s why he moved to Chandigarh.

Another reason is healthcare. In this modern era, due to stress and an unhealthy lifestyle, many of the population suffer from diseases, and due to the shortage of good hospitals, people do not get quality treatment. Covid 19 is the prime example during which many people die because they could not get ventilators. Chandigarh City has a network of muti-specialty hospitals which help its residents get quality treatment during unforeseen contingencies. In the village, my brother found it challenging to get treatment for his diabetes. That’s why he moved to Chandigarh.

His movement has positively affected me because the city is just 100 km from my residence, and every weekend, I spend quality time with my brother and his family. The city has various shopping malls and amusement parks for entertainment, and by going there, I feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

The other reason could be a change in financial status. You tend to move to a bigger house when you earn a lot of money. On the other hand, when you go through a severe financial crunch, you shift to a smaller home to cut the cost.
