Sample 1

Introduction

Although I have played numerous games, one is unique and worth mentioning.

What is that game

The game is cricket.

Who you played it with

I played it with my classmates during the sports period.

Where did you play the game

I played it on the school ground.

And explain why you enjoyed playing that game.

I enjoyed playing the game of cricket for many reasons. Firstly in our school, every class had two sections, A and B. I was in section A, and our arch-rival was section B.Everyday the players of both units would leave no stone unturned to beat the opposite team. Due to this reason, there was a lot of thrill and excitement in it.

Secondly, I have always exhibited an immense interest in teamwork. Cricket is a game in which collaboration is of utmost importance. It fascinated me because it encouraged me to help the other team members with my performance.

Thirdly cricket is a game of uncertainties. A good or lousy span of five minutes can change the match’s trajectory. Moreover, if you fail at batting, the game allows you to bounce back through good bowling and vice versa. This aspect of the game fascinated me the most.

Lastly, I am from a nation where cricket is a religion. I grew up watching the famous batsman Sachin Tendulkar. While playing the game, I imitated his style, which greatly satisfied me.

I still love playing cricket, but I need more time to play it. However, the excellent time spent playing it will always remain etched in my memories.

Sample 2

Introduction

During my childhood, I played many games, and one of them appealed to me the most; hence, it is worth mentioning.

What is that game

The game is Lawan tennis

Who you played it with

I played it with my clubmates.

Where did you play the game?

I played the game in my neighbourhood club, a stone’s throw away from my residence.

And explain why you enjoyed playing that game.

I enjoyed playing this game because it is an exciting game that is different from the other racquet games. Moreover, unlike badminton, the wind doesn’t affect your game when you play it outdoors.

The other reason was that tennis is a less time-consuming game. During my budding years, my central focus was on my holistic development, and I wanted to carve a nice for myself by leading my career toward an impressive growth trajectory. Most of my friends used to play cricket, but I enjoyed playing tennis because playing one match requires just 2-3 hours of yours. On the contrary, the game lasts more than 5-6 hours in cricket.

Moreover, I used to feel like royalty while playing it because it is a game that the masses cannot play. After all, the equipment cost is high. Unlike badminton, where there used to be a lot of rush, the tennis course would remain vacant. And I could play it without any interruption or delays.

Lastly, this game helped me attain fitness. During childhood, I gained immense weight due to binge eating, and tennis helped me shed kilos because it requires massive running. I became a fit and healthy person within two months of joining it.
