What is it?

The program name is match analysis, and it comes on a Youtube channel name “Sports Tak.”

Who do you watch it with?

I watch it with my family and on some occasions I watch it with my friends. If I fail to watch it live, I see its recording on Youtube.

When do you watch it?

I watch it before and after any international cricket match.

Why do you like to watch it?

I like to watch it for many reasons. First and foremost, this program is beyond the conventional domain. It is different from what is shown on other platforms. The panel discussing the match’s outcome comprises seasoned players and reporters. They do technical analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the teams. Furthermore, they leave no stone unturned to provide unbiased analysis.

Moreover, to enhance its viewers’ knowledge, the show presenters organize quiz shows where participants from diverse backgrounds answer the questions. After watching this program, my sports-related knowledge, especially cricket, has risen exponentially.

This program also provides valuable input into playing online sports-related games. For example, various mobile phone applications allow users to form fantasy teams for upcoming matches. Based on the performance of the fantasy players, the game users get rewards in terms of money.

Why do you like to watch it?

Moreover, I play cricket every Sunday and watching highlights help me to learn the tricks of the game. The knowledge gained from watching highlights allows me to perform better in my game. Apart from this, I need more time to watch a full cricket match due to fierce competition because a substantial percentage of my hours go towards my office work. In such a scenario, watching highlights work like a charm because it allows me to enjoy the entire match in less time.

In totality watching IPL highlights is a wholesome entertainment and stress buster for me. Due to this reason, my days remain incomplete if I do not watch it in the morning.

Why do you like to watch it?

I watch it for many reasons. Firstly it is entertaining. There is no denying this conviction that IPL is the 2nd most popular sports league in the world, where players from all corners rub shoulders together to win the trophy for their team. So watching the auction is entertaining, like watching the match, because there is always suspense about which team will pick which player. Moreover, the scenario becomes more interesting when two- three teams fight and leave no stone unturned to buy their chosen player. This way, the teams compete with each other and sometimes raise the auction prize exponentially. For example, in the 2023 season, Sam Curran from England was the most expensive player because many teams raised their bid to buy him, and in the process, he fetched a whopping price of 18.5 crores.

Thirdly it motivates me. Because when a player gets a high prize, it encourages me to do more complex work in my tasks so that my employer should also play me more by seeing my performance. Moreover, it helps to enhance my knowledge. Apart from this, it is beyond the conventional domain of entertainment. Lastly, it boosts my earnings.
