I am a person who has very good relationships with my near and dear ones, so there are very few occasions when someone apologizes to me because I do not get into conflicts. However, one such occasion happened two years back when I was in college, and one of my friends apologized to me.

He apologized because I had advised him to join a digital marketing course. When he joined that course, he paid around ₹20,000 for it, and he thought it was a waste of money. After joining the course and studying for one week, he came to me and started shouting. He said that taking advice from me was the biggest mistake he had ever made in his life. After that, our relationship went sideways — we stopped talking to each other and even stopped meeting.

I used to miss him because we were very good friends, and my intention was never to lead him in the wrong direction. At that time, digital marketing was not fully developed, but I believed it would be an upcoming field, so I suggested that he should definitely go for it.

A few months later, he came and apologized to me because, after completing the course, he worked on his skills and ultimately got a freelancing job with a very good salary. He told me that he had misunderstood me. After that, we became good friends again, and I felt very happy because my friend was back in my life. It was a dream-come-true moment for me.

The good times I spent with him — his name is Andrew — will always remain in my memories.
