Sample Answer 1

Introduction

Since childhood, I have had this uncanny knack for losing things. Recently I lost a precious item at a public place.

What did you lose?

I lost my mobile phone

How you lost it?, and Where you lost it?

Last month I went to a park nearby my home for a walk. There few kids were having a gala time playing cricket. Being a cricket fanatic, I too joined them and played the game for two hours.

I left my belongings on the park bench, and when I returned after playing cricket, I didn’t find my mobile phone.

And explain how you felt about it.

After losing the phone, I was in a state of absolute disarray because my phone contained vital information regarding my work and study, and I thrived primarily on it to store data. My first cause of worry was the loss of data.

Secondly, that phone had a special place in my heart because I won it in a competition which happened in our college. The target was to become the topper of the class. I vividly remember that I burned the midnight oil for six months and ingrained determination, dedication and discipline in my routine to pass my exam with flying colours.

My hard work paid off, and I got the latest iPhone as a prize, for my stupendous performance.

Therefore, losing that phone was a heartbreaking moment for me. I tried hard to find it, but to my dismay, I couldn’t locate it and finally, I realised that my phone would never come back to me.

The wonderful moments I had with that phone will always remain etched in my memories.
