Introduction

Although I have watched many web series, one of them is special, and hence it is worth mentioning.

What series is it?

The name of the series is Mirzapur. It is about gang wars in a small town in India’s Uttar Pradesh state.

Last year due to the corona pandemic, there was a lockdown in my country. During that time I watched it.

Who are the characters?

There are two main characters which are Guddu Pandit and Bablu Pandit. They are brothers, and due to some unforeseen circumstances, they get into a fight with a son of a local gangster whose name is Munna Tyagi.

In the first season’s last episode, Munna Tyagi kills Bablu Pandit. The murder happens during a wedding reception, and despite the best attempts, Guddu couldn’t save his brother’s life.

And in the second season, Guddu Pandit takes revenge for his brother’s death by killing Munna Tyagi. He toils hard, and despite because handicapped due to injury from the bullet, he managed to kill Munna Tyagi in broad daylight.

What do you like/dislike about it?

The best thing about this series is the presentation style. The director has left no stone unturned to keep the audience glued to the tv screens.

While within this series, predicting what will happen next is challenging.

The casting director did a good job picking actors for this masterpiece. All the characters seem real, and the first season ended in suspense.

Such is the craze of this series that the audience is eagerly waiting for in season 3.
