Sample Answer 1
While planning new towns, it is vital to construct more public parks or games facilities than shopping plazas for people to utilize their leisure time. This essay agrees with this statement because this initiative will improve individuals’ health, and secondly, it will be good for the environment.
To begin with, creating public parks and sports complexes is a prudent approach because it provides the inhabitants with an opportunity to engage in a physical workout. In this modern era, cities face space constraints, and it is a daunting task to find a suitable place for outdoor activities. The availability of parks and sports centres will substantially increase the number of people who exercise regularly. Japan is a prime example where obesity is declining due to the enhanced availability of parks and sports centres.
Moreover, building public parks is worthwhile for keeping our environment in good shape. There is no denying this conviction that most cities worldwide have a shortage of green areas due to deforestation. This development is leading to disastrous repercussions on our environment. By creating more green space, we can undo the damage done to the environment to some extent. Hence, this initiative would act as a blessing for our society. For example, Bhutan has the least carbon footprint because of the proper Maintainance of the green belt.
To conclude, building more public parks and sports complexes instead of shopping plazas is a sagacious approach because it will lead to remarkable improvement in society’s physical and mental fitness. Moreover, it will help the government to improve the environment.
