The government should provide a better network for public transport because it plays a crucial role in saving time and money for the people of society. There is no denying this conviction that many people travel daily for many reasons and spend significant time and money on this. If higher authorities can provide them with a better public transport network, it will benefit both individuals and the government. Japan is the prime example where the government took over public transport control to facilitate people, which helped foster the economy.

Building more roads to provide facilities for car owners would down lift the number of road accidents. It is intuitively true that major accidents happen due to the bad condition of roads. In such a scenario, providing better facilities to the inhabitants and taking care of their lives is a bounden duty of government because they pay taxes. A recent study by The Times revealed that the maximum number of accidents in India last year was due to the unfortunate condition of roads.
