Q1. What does the street market sell?
A street market specializes in selling products that appeal to the masses. The range available includes clothes, grocery items, handicrafts, kitchen and bathroom utilities, and many more.
Q2. Do you go to the street market?
Yes, I often visit the street market for two reasons. Firstly more daily necessities like groceries, vegetables, and household goods. Secondly, whenever I feel like not cooking at home, I go to the local street market to taste the mouth-watering delicacies served by the food vendors.
Q3. Why do you think people go to the street market?
People visit street markets for two reasons. Firstly, it is damn easy to buy products from such places because you do not have to pay parking fees and climb stairs. Secondly, the vendors of the shops operate at a low expense, making the goods available at a low price compared to shopping malls and showrooms.
Q4. When you travel abroad, do you go to street markets?
Yes, I visit the street markets whenever I travel abroad because, at these places, one gets the true feeling regarding the culture of the nation calls. After all, you see people from all walks of life purchasing the needy things, and by interacting with them, a visitor can bridge the gap.
Q5. What is the difference between a street market and a supermarket?
A supermarket focuses on the upper middle class and wealthy class, whereas a street market’s customers are from all walks of life. Moreover, supermarkets sell branded products, whereas a street market thrives primarily on local goods for survival. Lastly, the discounts are more in a street market because of lower operational costs than in a supermarket.

In our country, society is divided into masses and classes. Due to this reason, street markets are available in every nook and corned to take care of ordinary people’s needs.
Q7. Do you enjoy going to street markets?
Yes, going to street markets appeals to me for two reasons. Firstly I get the products at a reasonable cost, and secondly, I get a chance to meet and interact with people from all walks of life.
Q8. Do you often go to the supermarket?
Being a student, I only have a little money at my disposal. Due to this reason, I visit supermarkets occasionally because the available products are usually high priced compared to the street markets.
