  • Youngsters often learn from the heaps of experience which elders have.

Who he or she is?, and How you know this person?

  • Although I am in touch with many senior citizens and of course I respect all of them, one person who is very special for me is Dr Rimple Sharma. She is my next-door neighbour.

  • Her family members are not only altruistic but also philanthropic.
  • Dr Rimple Sharma is a dietician with 40 years of experience; she is a university gold medallist and runs a weight-loss centre in our neighbourhood.
  • She runs her centre from 9 am to 6 pm.

What kind of things you like to do together?

  • Being fitness freaks we often go for walk together.
  • Apart from this, we play chess every weekend.
  • We both love to do charity, therefore whenever we have spare time, we often support the orphan kids by teaching them for free.

And explain why you respect him or her?

  • She is my role model. I always seek flashes of inspiration from her.
  • Because, in this contemporary era, most people run from pillar to post to earn more money.
  • There is a small percentage of such persons in our society who are altruistic, and they are willing to help others without any vested interest.
  • She is my role model. I always seek flashes of inspiration from her.
  • I always try to follow in her footsteps to help society.

Sample Answer 2

Although I admire all elderly people because of their contribution to society, I have a special attachment with one person.

Who is he or she is?, and How do you know this person?

She is my college teacher. Her name is Dr Rimple Sharma.

During my first interaction with her as a student, I became a big fan of hers.

What kind of things do you like to do together?

Being voracious readers, we discuss the summaries of books we read. And, I give presentations with her on the different books I read.

Apart from this, we both are active members of a charitable organisation that provides free of cost education to underprivileged children.

Every weekend we work in collaboration to teach the children staying in the slums.

And explain why you respect him or her?

Before meeting her, I used to be a person with a careless approach to life. However, under her aegis, there is a paradigm shift in my attitude.

She is the person who has motivated me to lead my life towards an impressive growth trajectory.

The other prominent reason for respective him is the unabated support she provides to the students. Due to this quality of hers, most of the students in my class never miss her lectures.

Whenever I go through tough times, I reach her to find viable solutions for the pressing problems of my life. With her heaps of experience and knowledge, she always helps me to handle conflicts adroitly.

I feel blessed to be in the company of such an altruist and philanthropic person.
