The name of this attraction is TajMahal. It is one of the seven wonders of the world. The Mughal king Shan Jahan built it in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal.
It is known worldwide as the symbol of love and affection. Many lovers seek flashes of inspiration from it to meek their beloved feel special by giving gifts that are beyond the conventional domain.
Millions of tourists from different parts of the world visit Agra annually to watch this masterpiece.
Where is it located?
The city of Agra lies in the northern part of India in the state of Uttar Pradesh. And Taj Mahal is the central part of the city of Agra.
When and why did you visit there?
Last year my college organized a study trip to the Taj Mahal. The central focus of the outing was to prepare a report on the significance of the Taj Mahal in India’s history and culture.
And did you like it?
The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. I liked it for many reasons.
Firstly it possesses state-of-the-art infrastructure. The workers left no stone unturned to create this masterpiece. Although the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in the 17th century, the marble looks contemporary.
Apart from this, its looks are alluring. The creativity shown on the marble is mesmerizing. My classmates clicked umpteen photographs with the Taj Mahal as the background.

Yes, there is no denying this conviction that one has to be rich enough to travel the world because it is a daunting task for an average earning person to spend a sizeable portion of his earnings on paying for air tickets and visa fees. Apart from this, rich people have plenty of time for travelling because they have people working for them in their absence.
