Introduction

Being an avid reader of history, I tend to visit historical places. Last month, I had visited a cultural and religious place for the first time.

Where the new place is?

The place is known as Burj Fateh. Its name is Chappar Chiri, a small village in the Mohali district of Punjab.

When did you go there?

Last year my city was in a state of lockdown due to the corona pandemic. Once the local government had lifted the lockdown and begun the unlock process, I had a sigh of relief. And I immediately visited Burj Fateh.

Why did you go there?

To do something beyond the conventional domain, I decided to visit Burj Fateh.

And explain how you feel about the place?

The first thought that came to my mind is that it is the bounden duty of all Indians to visit Chappar Chiri because it occupies a significant role in Indian history. This place witnessed the battle betwixt Sikh forces led by Banda Singh Bahadur Ji and Wazir Khan from Sirhind.

The local authorities constructed Fateh Burj to mark the war led by Banda Bahadur Singh Ji. This place has state of the art infrastructure. The architects have left no stone unturned to give it a historical look.

This place has a museum. Students from different schools visit this place to gain knowledge of Sikh history and culture. Moreover, the authorities conduct various cultural programmes to spread awareness regarding the significance of this place.

Conclusion

It is a must-visit place for people from all sections of society.

Being a voracious traveller, I tend to travel to different parts of the world. Recently I visited a new place.

Where the new place is?

The place is in the Uttranchal state of India. Its name is Chakrata, and it is a hill station.

When did you go there?, and Why did you go there?

Last year because of the Corona Virus outbreak, the higher authorities imposed a stringent lockdown in our nation. Due to this reason, I didn’t go out of my township for six months.

Finally, when the administration had lifted the lockdown, I had a sigh of relief. And I immediately planned to visit a new location. After surfing the internet for hours, I finalised Chakrata city for my trip.

And explain how you feel about the place?

Chakrarta city is a must-visit place. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of modern cities. As this place is 100 km away from the urban areas, there is no traffic congestion.

Moreover, the cool breeze blows that keep the environment clean and pristine. I had not found many tourists over there due to that, I roamed in the city with tremendous ease.

The administration has banned the usage of plastic bags in this city. Apart from this, the natives do not prefer to use motor vehicles for work. Due to this reason, the pollution level is low in the city.

Conclusion;

I love this place because of its alluring beauty, and I have planned to visit it every year.

Being a youngster, I prefer to live in the city because of the facilities.

6. How do young and old people react differently to new things?

Young and older people reach differently to new things because of their experience and attitude. Youngsters have less patience, and due to that, they make impulsive choices.

On the other hand, elders rely on the heaps of knowledge and experience to handle conflicts adroitly.

7. Why do some people want to go to college far away from home?

Some people want to go to college far away from home, due to many reasons. The first apparent reason is that they want to have freedom. They think that by staying away from their parents, they can enjoy their life in a better way.

Moreover, those people who wish to do things beyond the conventional domain usually like to spend their lives far away from home.
