Yes, desserts appeal to me. My meals are incomplete when I do not get anything sweet to eat after them. Moreover, cakes and pastries are my favourites.

No, I wouldn’t say I like desserts because I am a fitness-conscious person, and I believe that sweets add empty calories to our diet, which are detrimental to our health.

Q2. Do you like eating cake?

Yes, I like eating cake, and due to this reason, I like birthday parties because I get large quantities to eat. Although numerous varieties of cakes are available, I particularly like chocolate truffle cake. Apart from that, I like pineapple and vanilla.

Q3. What desserts do Indian people like?

In India, traditional desserts like funnel cakes are popular among older generations. In contrast, a paradigm shift has occurred due to globalisation, and youngsters prefer pastries, cakes and brownies as desserts.

Q4. Have you ever made a cake?

Although I am terrible at cooking, recently I baked one cake. During the corona pandemic, our city was in a state of lockdown, and no bakery was open. My father’s birthday was during that period, and to make him feel special, I baked a cake, and to my surprise, it tasted good.

Q5. When do you usually eat cakes?

I usually eat cake when I attend birthday parties, wedding celebrations, reunions, etc.
