Introduction
- There is no denying this conviction that decisions made by us play an imperative role in our lives.
- If a decision goes right, it could lead our life towards an impressive growth trajectory.
- However, a wrong decision could lead our life through a lean patch.
What was it?
- One year back, I used to be very bulky. To lose weight, I tried a lot of options to lose weight like running, swimming, gymming and so on. But I didn’t get good results.
- During that period, one of my friends introduced me to Dr Rimple Sharma. She is a renowned dietician.
- After listening to my side of the story, she suggested two changes in my diet. Firstly, not to eat anything between 7 pm to 7 am, which means not taking dinner after 7 pm and not having breakfast before 7 am. Secondly, she suggested me to chew every bite for at least 32 times.
- Her advice sounded a bit weird to me because before meeting her, I had implicit faith in the belief that the easiest way to lose weight is to do a lot of exercises.
- Whereas, as per Dr.Rimple, the contribution of the right diet in the weight loss journey is 80 per cent, and the share of physical workout in the same is just 20 per cent.
When you made it?
- After giving serious thought, I decided to follow the path shown by my doctor.
- So six months back, I started following the practice of taking all meals between 7 am to 7 pm.
- Moreover, I also started chewing all the bites 32 times.
- Although this was difficult to adhere, I persisted.
What was the result?
- The result was satisfying I managed to lose 10 kgs weight in three months.,
- Moreover, my waist size too decreased tremendously.
And explain how you felt about it?
- This prudent decision of mine has brought a paradigm shift in my life.
- After losing weight, I feel not only overly energetic but also more confident.
