In recent years, advertising has emerged as an essential tool to make the product or service known to the audience. While some people believe that it creates mass awareness of the products that might be useful in day-to-day life, others opine that it results in unnecessary buying. From my perspective, advertisements improve our lives by keeping us informed about recent product developments and the best offers available.
First, advertisement is a vital source of information dissemination about product features and specifications. As markets usually have similar products, advertisements help in comparing the items and choosing the right one as per one’s requirement. To illustrate, let us consider the cell phone market, there are a wide variety and plethora of brands available at the same price. In such a case, advertisements are extremely helpful in buying the appropriate product with the desired features.
Furthermore, advertisements serve a useful purpose by providing information about price changes, discounts and offer on various products by different stores, brands etc. Resultantly, it enables people to purchase products at the best prices possible and save money. When it comes to grocery shopping, for instance, people often check newspaper advertisements for sales, offers and discounts and plan their weekly shopping accordingly.
By and large, advertisements play a crucial role by not only helping in making an informed purchase but also saving money. They serve multiple purposes on both the consumer and the producer end. To sum up, there is no denying this conviction that advertisements are a reliable medium that drives the product market and can be used to our benefit.
