Sample Answer

Some parents argue that daycare centres provide the best facilities to take care of their kids, while other full-time employed parents think that it is better if other relatives or grandparents take care of the children. While professionals at the childcare centres are well equipped to handle kids, this essay will argue that grandparents are a better choice due to their love and care.

On the one hand, some parents prefer leaving their young ones in the childcare centre because these places usually hire skilled professionals. Employees of these centres are well-trained in handling kids. They know that each kid is unique and, thus, they use their skills accordingly. For example, a survey published in the Economic Times showed that over 80% of the staff and teachers in childcare centres are certified professionals in India. However, I think that despite all the credentials of these schools, they are not the best option because the kind of unabated support children require in their formative years is not available at such places.

Many working parents, on the other hand, prefer their parents or in-laws to care for their children as they are more loving towards them. They feel that nothing, not even skilled trainers, can replace the amount of love which grandparents possess for their grandchildren due to the blood relation. For instance, it is noticeable that grandparents do not get upset with young kids even if they are naughty, which is not the case with daycare professionals. Therefore, it is best to leave kids with grandparents at home rather than dropping them at babysitting schools.

In conclusion, although teachers at child care facilities are trained professionals to care for the young children of working parents, no one can compete with the care full of love which grandparents offer.
