There is no denying this conviction that the world has become a global village due to the rapid incline in technology. The spread of technical know-how has led to many problems which are spread worldwide. One of the issues is leading to disastrous aftermaths. Hence it is worth mentioning.
What is it?
The pressing problem that most nations are encountering these days is pollution.
What are the effects of this problem?
Environmental contamination in any form is detrimental to mother nature. Firstly air pollution leads to harmful implications for human beings, animals, and plants. In addition, millions of people worldwide are suffering from respiratory disorders due to a rapid incline in the contamination of the atmosphere.
Secondly, water pollution makes life challenging for humans and marine species. Many sea creatures are on the brink of extinction because of this.
Lastly, soil pollution is declining soil fertility, and the nutritional value of the food we eat is nosediving considerably.
What are the causes of this problem?
The prominent cause of this issue is rapid urbanization. Due to the vested interests of a few people, deforestation is burgeoning without any control, increasing the extent of harmful gases in the air.
Secondly, most people know that plastic is detrimental to our environment. Still, they are continuing with it, and this attitude of having a comfortable lifestyle is the primary cause of water and soil pollution.
Lastly, the persistent usage of fossil fuels for running automobiles is escalating air pollution at an alarming rate.
