I would like to talk about a new law that I would like to introduce in India, which is a strict law to reduce excessive mobile phone and social media use among school students during study hours.

According to this law, students would not be allowed to use smartphones in schools except for educational purposes approved by teachers. Schools would also conduct awareness programs about the harmful effects of excessive screen time and social media addiction.

I believe this law could bring many positive changes. Nowadays, many students spend too much time on social media, online gaming, and entertainment apps, which negatively affects their concentration, studies, physical health, and communication skills.

This idea came to my mind after observing how deeply technology has affected young people’s daily routines. I have noticed that many students become distracted very easily and struggle to focus on learning for long periods. Even during social gatherings, many people remain busy on their phones instead of interacting with others.

I think this law would become quite popular among parents, teachers, and educational institutions because it would help students become more disciplined and productive. However, some teenagers may initially dislike it because they are emotionally attached to smartphones and social media.

Personally, I feel very positive about this law because I believe technology should be used in a balanced and responsible way. Mobile phones are extremely useful, but overdependence can create mental stress, reduce creativity, and weaken real-life communication.

Overall, I think such a law could help create healthier study environments and encourage students to focus more on personal growth and real-world experiences.
