Sample 1

I have had many enjoyable journeys by public transport, but I remember very clearly the trip I had with my family and friends; it was a group of five families we went together on the train Shatabdi Express to Hemkunt Sahib.

Hemkunt Sahib is a very religious Sikh Gurdwara place of worship. It is an alluring place in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand and very beautiful to look at, but most of the time, it is covered with snow only.

As it is situated in a hilly place, the history of Hemkunt Sahib is that Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the 10th Sikh Guru and finds mentions Dasam Granth there and completed it writing and writing it’s there and established a Nishan Sahib on its cliff.

According to the survey of Indian locations in the Garhwal Himalaya, all the families went there, and we worshipped there. We stayed two days and three nights on the third day. We came back on the train only. It was a perfect trip, and I enjoyed it a lot. We also saw many other places near the Hemkunt Sahib.

There was an 11-kilometre trek which we had to do to go up. There are two ways to go to the Gurdwara: either you can go 11 kilometres on the trek or book a helicopter, which is expensive and not so enjoyable.

We decided to do the trek, which was a memorable journey by public transport. After that, all our families and friends were pleased. It was an excellent experience to gain in life. I want to go again if I have a chance in my life.

2. Why do more and more people like to travel by plane?

More people like to travel by plane because it’s in their budget and also it is a faster way of travelling so people prefer to travel by aeroplane, which is an air mode of transport.

3. Will offering free public transport solve traffic problems in the city?

Offering free public transport will solve the problems in the city. If they increase, they should also increase the number of buses. If there is only one bus, the bus will be filled with people too much, so the number of buses should also increase if the free buses are going to.

The advantages of public transport are that it’s not too expensive, it’s within a person’s budget so that he can travel very easily and comfortably, and it also gives the environment a natural advantage because less fuel is used, and it does not harm the environment.

5. What do you think are the cheapest and most expensive means of transport?

The cheapest means of transport is land transport, and the most expensive is air transport. Both are comfortable, but if we want to go cheaper, we should use public transport as land transport because it’s cheaper than if we like to buy a car and go from that, we have to fuel it with petroleum every day so people should go for cheaper one as a public transport and for expensive, it’s a faster way of travelling but its more expensive than the road transport.
