Describe a time you went out with one or two friends and did an activity together

You should say:

when you did it

why it was memorable

and explain whether or not you would like to do it again, and why.

Introduction

Although I have done numerous activities with my friends, one is exciting and worth mentioning.

Who did you do it with

I did it with my two friends, John and Andrew. Being nature enthusiasts, we planted trees in our neighbourhood to enhance the beauty and push people towards making clean and green planet earth.

When you did it

I did it last year.

Why it was memorable

It was memorable for many reasons. Firstly we had planned it long ago but needed more time to manage it. So it remained postponed for many years; When we did it with success, we were on cloud none because it proved that our mission was not an empty talk.

Moreover, it brought our neighbourhood together. There is no denying this conviction that most neighbours have this uncanny knack for fighting over trivial issues, and due to this issue, they do not divert their attention toward the pressing problems encountering them. Our activity motivated the people of our township to forget their disputes and rub shoulders together for a task that benefits the current generation and posterity.

Lastly, it was a special day for us because we got a lot of appreciation from our neighbourhood. One of our neighbours who works for a local channel broadcasted our drive, thousands of people watched us live, and many reporters took our interview. The honour I received that day will always remain etched in my memories.

I want to do it again to motivate others to plant trees for a clean and green earth.
