Sample 1

Being a social butterfly, I love doing activities with many people. I have done many activities with people in my age group and sometimes with younger people who lie to me. However, Sachin is worth mentioning. When I made a plan to do an activity with a large group of people, it was five years back, when due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was a lockdown in the country and the people from humble backgrounds, especially the people working as labourers and housemaids.

Those people were without any work, and it was difficult for them to make a living, so at that time, along with a group of about 200 people, we planned to do a mass activity. The prime motive behind doing that activity was to provide food to needy people, especially those who didn’t have money and were without work, and I felt perfect about the plan.

It wasn’t easy to achieve, so I included many people, and the plan was to meet a lot of corporations for this task. The group contacted more than a thousand people; only 10% sponsored the food items out of that, so we got about 90 donations. The sum we collected was substantial, and our plan worked, so I felt excellent about it because I did something noble, which was helpful to society.

Follow-ups

1. What kind of plans do young people often make?

Young people often make plans for going out and having a party because they chase instant gratification, so the majority of young people plan outdoor activities, having a party, going for a long drive, etc., and a small percentage of them make plans for discussing start-up ideas, having group discussions too.

2. Why can’t people always follow their plans?

People can’t always follow their plans because of distractions and dependence on others; there are only very few plans where you thrive primarily on yourself to lead your plan towards an impressive trajectory, and in most cases, you need to depend on others.
