Since childhood, I have loved watching the sky because it has always fascinated me, and I remember it from when I was a kid. I used to sleep on the roof during the summer. Then every night I would watch the sky and count the stars, especially the rainbow, which always fascinated me. Still, in recent years, due to urbanisation, a lot of pollution, and that’s why the air-quality index is pretty low in my country and watching a beautiful sky is a daunting task.

However, one such instance came into my life when the sky was gorgeous; it happened five years back when there was a lockdown in my nation due to the coronavirus pandemic. So people stopped going to offices. The vehicles stopped on the roads and virtually. Everyone was indoors, so there was very little traffic on the streets, and very few chimneys of the factories were running.

And due to that, the pollution declined considerably since I was also at home during that time because my college was closed, so I spent all day in my house, especially on the rooftop. So one day there was a beautiful rain, and after the rain, I saw the sky was clean and pristine. It was a blue sky.

My family members were also with me, so it was a treat to watch. So there was a rainbow also, and there were clouds, and it was a picturesque moment. I clicked many pictures and thought I was under the lap of nature because I hadn’t seen that clear sky for many years.

So that was this beautiful sky that I enjoyed seeing, and after a few months, the lockdown was over, and now the sky is again back to normal. So, the beautiful sky I watched that day will remain in my memories, and again, if I get a chance, the air quality will become normal, and then I’ll get an opportunity to watch such a beautiful sky.
