The threat of nuclear weapons maintains world peace. Nuclear power provides cheap and clean energy. The benefits of nuclear technology far outweigh the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree?

The threat of nuclear weapons maintains world peace. Nuclear power provides cheap and clean energy. The benefits of nuclear technology far outweigh the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree?

Nuclear technology is increasing at an alarming rate. As a result, most countries have nuclear power plants. However, it maintains world peace because of the threat of atomic weapons, while energy produced from nuclear power is cheaper and cleaner. Therefore, most nations have atomic power plants. I partially agree with this viewpoint.

To begin with, the majority of nations have nuclear weapons. Therefore, countries are threatened with war because if nuclear weapons are used against nations, the whole area will be damaged and fertile. Moreover, some countries became superpowers by developing hazardous atomic weapons, such as America, China, Russia, etc. For instance, the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. As a result, the whole city was transformed into a desert, and the effect of this weapon is still shown in the child.

In addition, many children are born with some disabilities due to this. Furthermore, some of the energy is produced by nuclear particles these days. The reason behind it is that it is more affordable and has clean energy. In addition, this energy does not contribute to global warming. Moreover, it produces pollution-free energy.

On the contrary, the waste material generated is hazardous and disposed of into the ocean and open farmlands, which harms the surrounding people. Additionally, the initial cost of constructing the power plants is prohibitive. For example, 11% of the energy in India is produced by nuclear technology, and six atomic plants have been established in India.

Although nuclear technology has several disadvantages, the merits outweigh the demerits. However, authorities should try to solve the problem in other ways, such as by treating waste materials. Additionally, there is an agreement to use nuclear weapons. Therefore, nations are threatened and maintain world peace.
