Do you like shoes?

Being a working person, I pay excessive heed to the type of shoes I wear. Because for a sizeable period of my day, I have to wear shoes. Therefore they are an integral part of my life because they carry my weight for long hours.

How often do you buy shoes?

I carry three pairs of shoes. The first one is formal shoes, and I change them once every year. The second one is sports shoes. Being a sports enthusiast, I make rough use of my shoes and change them every six months. The third category is party-wear shoes, and I buy new pumps for parties every three months.

Do you like to wear shoes that are comfortable or good-looking?

As I am a working person, my central focus is always on comfort while buying shoes for myself. Therefore I prefer those brands which provide comfortable pumps like HushPuppies and Sketchers. However, during parties and get-togethers, I wear good-looking shoes.

What is your favourite type of shoes?

Being a sports fanatic, I prefer to wear sports shoes. Because they not only provide comfort but also look elegant. Moreover, I can work for longer hours while wearing them without much discomfort.

Why do some people have too many shoes?

Some people have this uncanny knack for buying a huge variety of shoes. They do it for many reasons, the first one is impulsive purchasing. A few have this tendency to purchase things without much research. And the second category is those who are party animals, these people love to flaunt their opulent lifestyle by carrying different attire every time.

Have you ever bought shoes online?

Online shopping is gaining prominence in our nation. Earlier I was apprehensive regarding the online purchase of shoes, now I am comfortable with it. For the last few I have been buying pumps online. Recently I purchased Sketchers Go Walk shoes from Flipkart.

Are people willing to buy expensive shoes?

The trend of buying expensive shoes is gaining momentum these days. Many people, especially those who are filthy rich, buy expensive shoes.

What’s your favourite type of shoe to wear?

 My favourite shoes to wear are formal because whenever I wear formal shoes, I feel very comfortable with them. So I am comfortable in my home as well as in my workplace with formal shoes. 

Do you prefer sneakers or sandals?  

I prefer sneakers because I feel very comfortable. After all, if we go for a walk, then it’s very comfortable to walk. So I prefer to be in sneakers more than sandals. 

How often do you buy new shoes? 

After 5 or 6 months I want to buy new shoes because I usually wear sports shoes. That’s why I always want to buy sports shoes, a few, like slippers and sandals. So, I usually buy after 5 or 6 months. 

Can you describe your most comfortable pair of shoes? 

My most comfortable pair of shoes is white colour. It’s a sports shoe because it’s very comfortable for me. Nowadays, whenever I go to work, I always wear them, and for shopping and going outdoors, I also wear these shoes because they’re from Adidas and the shoes are white. And my favourite colour is white, so I have always loved to buy white shoes. 

Do you have a preferred brand of shoes? 

No, I don’t have any preferred brand in my life, but if I see a brand without shoes, whichever I like, I buy it. So, I don’t have any preference related to particular brands.

 Have you ever owned a pair of high heels? If so, do you find them comfortable? 

Nowadays, I don’t wear high heels, but in the past, like when I got married, I bought a pair of high-heeled sandals, which were uncomfortable for me. I wore it more than 5 or 6 times, but I felt it was uncomfortable. Then I just gave it to my sister because she loves to wear high heels and sandals. 

What colour of shoes do you wear most often? 

As I told you, I like to wear white shoes, so whenever I buy shoes my first preference is white, but if I can’t find the perfect match for the white colour, I will go with black or grey. 

Have you ever had a pair of shoes that you regretted buying? 

Yes, once I bought a pair of shoes which the Puma company makes, and I spent 4 or 5 thousand Indian rupees on it, but I regretted it because whenever I went in the rain, I bought that and it was like a mess. Its sole was broken. Yes, its sole was broken, so I regret buying it. It’s costly for me.

Do you enjoy shopping for shoes? 

Yes, of course, if I am going to buy some shoes like formal, casual or for a wedding, then I usually enjoy buying them, but I always go after 5 or 6 months so at that time I, of course, buy shoes for myself then I enjoy to do the shopping for me.
