
IELTS Speaking Part 1 Shoes
1. Do you like shoes?
Being a working person, I pay excessive heed to the type of shoes I wear. Because for a sizeable period of my day I have to wear shoes. Therefore they are an integral part of my life because they carry my weight for long hours.
2. How often do you buy shoes?
I carry three pairs of shoes. The first one is formal shoes, and I change them once every year. The second one is sports shoes. Being a sports enthusiast, I make rough use of my shoes and change them every six months. The third category is party-wear shoes, and I buy new pumps for parties after every three months.
3. Do you like to wear shoes that are comfortable or good looking?
As I am a working person, my central focus is always on comfort while buying shoes for myself. Therefore I prefer those brands which provide comfortable pumps like HushPuppies and Sketchers. However, during parties and get-togethers, I wear good looking shoes.
4. What is your favourite type of shoes?
Being a sports fanatic, I prefer to wear sports shoes. Because they not only provide comfort but also look elegant. Moreover, I can work for longer hours while wearing them without much discomfort.
5. Why do some people have too many shoes?
Some people have this uncanny knack for buying a huge variety of shoes. They do it for many reasons, the first one is impulsive purchasing. A few ones have this tendency to purchase things without much research. And the second category is of those who are party animals, these people love to flaunt their opulent lifestyle by carrying different attire every time.
6. Have you ever bought shoes online?
Online shopping is gaining prominence in our nation. Earlier I was apprehensive regarding the online purchase of shoes, now I am comfortable with it. For the last few I have been buying pumps online. Recently I purchased Sketchers Go Walk shoes from Flipkart.
7. Are people willing to buy expensive shoes?
The trend of buying expensive shoes is gaining momentum these days. Many people, especially those who are filthy rich, buy expensive shoes.
