Introduction

  • I meet numerous intelligent people regularly.
  • Some of my friends, colleagues and neighbours are extremely intelligent.

Who is the person?, and What does he/she do?

  • I know one such person who is extremely intelligent. She usually goes beyond the conventional domain to solve the issues in our society.
  • Her name is Dr Rimple Sharma. She is my next-door neighbour.
  • Her family members are not only altruistic but also philanthropic.
  • Dr Rimple Sharma is a dietician, a university gold medallist, and runs a weight-loss centre in our neighbourhood.
  • She runs her centre from 9 am to 6 pm.

Why do you think he/she is smart?

  • I think she is smart because, with her intelligence, she has single-handedly improved the fitness of the people staying in our neighbourhood.
  • One year ago, I used to be very bulky. To lose weight, I tried a lot of options like running, swimming, gymming and so on. But I didn’t get good results.
  • One of my friends introduced me to Dr Rimple Sharma during that period. She is a renowned dietitian.
  • After listening to my side of the story, she suggested two changes in my diet. Firstly, not eating anything between 7 pm and 7 am means not having dinner after 7 pm and not having breakfast before 7 am. Secondly, she suggested I chew every bite at least 32 times.
  • Her advice sounded a bit weird to me because before meeting her, I had implicit faith in the belief that the easiest way to lose weight is to do a lot of exercise.
  • Meanwhile, per Dr.Rimple, the contribution of the proper diet in the weight loss journey is 80 per cent, and the share of physical workout is just 20 per cent.
  • Due to her intelligent suggestion, I could get rid of the extra fat on my body without much hard work.
  • Her intelligence is not limited to her domain.
  • She has this habit of solving all complex problems through her thoughtful and intelligent work.

How do you feel about him/her?

  • She is my role model. I always seek flashes of inspiration from her.
  • I always try to follow in her footsteps to achieve impressive growth.

Follow-ups

1. Why are some children more intelligent than others?

Sometimes, God gifts some children with special talents from their childhood, and some children acquire talent by remaining in the company of other intelligent children. These are why some children are more intelligent than others, so your talent and environmental pleasure are pivotal in this.

2. Who do you think is more critical in a child’s development, teachers or parents?

In my opinion, both have played a pivotal role over the years. The parents play a crucial role because the teacher comes into the picture when the child is three or four years old, and once a child enters school, the teacher plays a pivotal role, so the role of both is essential.

3. Do you think people tend to be selfish?

I don’t think intelligent people tend to be selfish; they are focused on their goals. Their primary target is to make their life better, and they do not concentrate on others, so that’s why sometimes they seem selfish, but that is not their aim. What do you believe is that they need to improve themselves first, and then they can think of the rest of the world.

4. Are smart people happier than others?

I know that’s not the case; happiness is very subjective. Some people remain happy without being smart, and your intelligence can help you get money or a promising career. Still, as far as your happiness is concerned, it depends on your attitude towards life. If your attitude is positive and you’re not smart enough, you are also a leader and have a good life.
