Introduction

There is no denying this conviction that we all work hard to earn substantial money. However, as per the experts, the best way to become rich is to let your money work for you.

When was it?

Being a student, I only have a few funds at my disposal, but two years back, I made an investment that gave me good returns. During the Corona pandemic, the world came to a standstill, and due to the lockdown and uncertainty, the stock market went towards a lean patch. That time one of my friends advised me to invest money, and I followed his suggestion and jumped onto the bandwagon.

Where you invested?

I invested in the stocks of the pharma industry because, during that time, the stocks of all sectors were down due to chaos created by Corona Pandemic. And I took it as an opportunity to invest Rs 50,000, which I saved from my pocket money.

How much return did you get?

After three months, the spread of the Corona pandemic nosedived, and the market went into a bull run, especially pharma stocks. To my surprise, the value of my investment grew double in just six months as I had to buy a new bike, so I sold the shares to purchase the same. In a nutshell, I get a 100 percent return on my investment.

How did you feel about it?

I felt good about it for two reasons. Firstly the risk I took worked like a charm, and secondly, this investment helped me to buy a bike of my choice.
