There is no denying this conviction that in our lives, sometimes we are in a moment of decision where it is difficult for us to take one step ahead, and we remain in a state of dilemma. In other words, it’s as if we were in limbo, aware that decision-making is daunting.
So it happened to me when I passed my 10th standard. After that, I was confused about whether to take non-medical or commerce, which remained for two months. My father convinced me to go for a non-medical, and he persuaded me to do it by giving me enough reasons.
First, he told me that my interest towards commerce was not my genuine interest; it was because of, you know, my friends convinced me because most of my friends were taking commerce, so that’s why I wanted to follow them, and I had a fear of missing out, which was that if my friends do something Tremendous by taking commerce so that I would lag behind the first season was this which my father told me.
The second reason was that during that time, a lot of people were taking commerce because there were a lot of banking jobs coming during that time, and there is no denying in this convention that people from a commerce background get preference in banking jobs.
My father convinced me that rather than what my friends were doing and what the market scenario was saying, I should focus on my strengths, so he told me that from the beginning of my childhood, my interest was always towards science, especially machines, so he told me that I should follow my interest of cars because I had excellent knowledge of vehicles, so he told me to pursue mechanical engineering.
Finally, I listened to my father’s advice and took engineering as a subject. After that, I did a BTech in mechanical engineering, and now I’m a successful engineer. The credit for this goes to my father because he helped me take the proper steps.

What impact does advertising have on children and their parents? Advertising has both positive and negative effects on children and their parents. Good products suitable for our health and life, like healthy food and technology, have a positive impact. On the contrary, those products are exaggerated, leading to adverse effects because children often pressure their parents to buy those products and services, which could harm their relationship.
