IELTS Speaking Part 1 Name
Q1. Is it easy for you to remember people’s names?
Despite my best efforts, remembering people’s names is a daunting task. I have this uncanny knack for uttering people’s names in my head, so I do not feel embarrassed when I meet them. I staunchly believe that remembering people’s names is a charm in fostering relationships.
Q2. How do you remember people’s names?
Whenever I meet any person for the first time, I repeat that person’s name in my head just after meeting them. Also, I interact with people with full attention and look for opportunities to repeat their names while conversing with them. I feel remaining distracted while communicating and talking with someone makes you forget that person’s name.
Q3. How do you feel when people can’t remember your name?
It makes me feel insignificant when people do not remember my name, which widens the gap between us.
I sometimes curse myself for not leaving a good impression on the other person’s mind while meeting him for the first time, and I believe this is the sole reason for that person forgetting my name.
Q4. Do you often forget people’s names?
God has blessed me with a sharp memory. Due to this reason, I do not forget people’s names. And whenever I meet them, I address them by their name.
