IELTS Speaking Part 1 Mobile Apps
Q1. Which mobile apps do you use?
Being a student, I thrive primarily on various mobile phone applications to study effectively, and to update my knowledge, I regularly use Quora, Medium, Youtube and Wikipedia. Apart from this, to expand my social network, I use Linkedin and Facebook. To make my near and dear ones know the updates, I use Instagram. Lastly, to relax, I use many gaming and music applications like Spotify etc.
Q2. Which ones do you want to use?
These days the fitness-related applications are gaining momentum. Being a fitness freak, I would like to use them for good health and well-being. Apart from this, I would like to use apps related to self-improvement.
Q3. Which ones are popular in your country?
In my country, Whatsapp is the most used app. People from all walks of life use it to be in touch with their near and dear ones. Apart from this, children and youngsters have this uncanny knack for utilizing a sizeable part of their day while using apps like Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
Q4. Do you want to make an app?
Being a travel enthusiast, I would like to develop an application for travel related to culture. My central focus would be on providing details of remote locations where regular tourists do not visit.
Q5. What was the first app you used?
I faintly remember that the first app I used was Orkut. It was the most famous social networking application in the first decade of the 21st century.
Q6. Do older adults in your country like to use apps?
Earlier, the percentage of older people using apps was less. In the past few years, a sudden surge is there in their numbers. The prominent reason for this paradigm shift is that senior citizens have realized the significance of this technology.
