Introduction
- Although all kind of people made noise, children have this uncanny knack of making a lot of noise.
- In their formative years, they usually make a lot of noise because, at such tender age, they do not understand the repercussions of inappropriate behaviour.
Who or what made the noise?
- Last month it was my cousin’s wedding.
- Because of my busy schedule, I could attend only one function that was a wedding reception.
- We all relatives assembled after a very long time.
- It was a family reunion for us.
- The whole gathering had a sizeable number of children in their teenage.
- To make the occasion a memorable one, we all planned to have a group family photograph at 8 pm.
- When we tried to gather all the relatives, we realized that most of the children didn’t reach the site earmarked for clicking the photograph.
- Suddenly we all heard a big noise coming from a corner
- When we had arrived there, we saw that the children of our family were playing a digital game on their respective gadgets.
- On every point scored they were screaming a lot.
What did you do when you heard the noise?
- I tried to stop the noise by rebuking them.
- Since all the children were deeply involved, in the game, they were not paying any heed to my words.
- After a few minutes, other family members joined me, and the behaviour of the kids upset them.
- But rather than rebuking the children and spoiling the party, we curbed the situation with a cool head.
- We made all the children sat at one place, and one of the senior members of our family made them realize the glaring mistake they had made.
- The children had quickly realized their mistake and apologized immediately.
And how you feel about it?
- Initially, I had felt upset about such behavior, but later on, I realized that nobody is perfect in this world. Children being immature are prone to mistakes.
- With the unabated support of the elders, they can learn how to behave appropriately.
