Sample 1

Although I am a voracious reader, I love to read books and watch many online videos. These videos teach me things beyond the conventional domain. Two years back, during the Corona pandemic, I watched an online video that brought a paradigm shift in my life.

So that was when I was at home. I was in lockdown, feeling stressed and had little to do. So, at that time, I watched an online YouTube channel called Income School. This video was about the events they had come to. In the video, the presenter taught me how to blog, which means writing articles on the internet, so it’s the whole process of personally creating a blog on WordPress.

You need to put content over there, and when people visit your blog and read content, you can exhibit ads on your blog. Whenever people click on the ads, we earn some money.

So, that was a life-changing moment for me because after watching the video, I followed all the strategies present in the video. In one month, I became a blogger, and after two months of watching the video, I started earning money. So, that video brought an excellent change in my life.

Sample 2

Online videos have become an integral part of our lives, especially after the coronavirus pandemic, because that was the time when most of the world started learning from platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

I’m fascinated with them, and recently, I watched a video in which I learned something new. I watched it last Sunday, and I watched it in the comforts of my home. So, this video was related to the concept of mindfulness.

This concept of mindfulness is fundamental because, as far as human beings are concerned, most of them indulge in overthinking, and the reason for overthinking is that they focus more on what happened in the past and what lies in the future. So the past is gone, and the future is uncertain, but they spend a sizable portion of their time thinking about the past and future.

On the contrary, the concept of mindfulness digs deep into the present. So it says you need not think about the past because it is gone. You can take some inspiration from it. You can learn from mistakes. That is the relevance of the past because whatever happened in the past won’t happen again, more or less, and as far as the future is concerned, that is always uncertain.

So the situation cannot go in your favour, however hard you try. A small government policy and climate change could wreak havoc with your plans. So, focusing on the present is very important because two scenarios happen if you take care of the present.

I watched it. I was going through a rough patch in my life because I was thinking more about the past and future. Instead, I was very much worried about the future. So, after watching this video, there was a paradigm shift in my thinking.

I started focusing on the present. I’ve learned from it that if you focus on your present, your future will take care of itself. While focusing on the present, you do not think much about the past because, at one point, our brain can think about one thing.

Online learning will replace face-to-face learning, but only in specific domains; it is feasible to get the same quality from online learning as we get from face-to-face learning. However, face-to-face learning will remain relevant for various domains, and online learning will not be able to take its place. For example, teaching music to someone is very difficult in online learning whereas face-to-face learning is relatively easy.”

2. What are the advantages of online learning?

There are numerous advantages of online learning. First and foremost, it’s straightforward. That means you need internet connectivity and can attend classes from any corner of the world.

Thirdly, it’s good for the environment because, for face-to-face learning, the teachers need to travel, the students need to travel, they need to assemble in one place, and a lot of petrol is burned.
