Although I am in touch with many senior citizens and of course I respect all of them, one person who is very special for me is Dr Rimple Sharma. She is my next-door neighbour.
She is one such person who goes beyond the conventional domain to help others in her spare time.
Her family members are not only altruistic but also philanthropic.
Dr Rimple Sharma is a dietician with 40 years of experience; she is a university gold medallist and runs a weight-loss centre in our neighbourhood.
She runs her centre from 9 am to 6 pm.

What he or she is like?

She has immense belief is this theory that a healthy society will lead to a better world.
Being a Doctor, she takes it as her bounden duty to help people from all walks of life.
According to her, good health is a fundamental right of every human being, and all the sections of society must work in tandem to achieve this aim.
She has singlehandedly taken the responsibility of improving the fitness of people staying in our vicinity.
From 7:30-9:00 pm, she offers free yoga and diet counselling sessions.
Under her guidance, there is a remarkable improvement in the health of people staying in our neighbourhood.

She is my role model. I always seek flashes of inspiration from her.
Because, in this contemporary era, most people run from pillar to post to earn more money.
There is a small percentage of such persons in our society who are altruistic, and they are willing to help others without any vested interest.
