Being a busy person, I usually do not get the opportunity to have a day off, but recently, I got a chance to enjoy a free day. I was at home and about to go to my office when suddenly an announcement came that due to torrential rain, all offices were closed because there were chances of floods.
So I was at home, and what I did was first of all, I cooked my favourite meal, which is kidney beans with rice. I was there with my family, brother, sister and parents, so after having a meal, we played board games.
Firstly, we played carrom board, then Ludo and later on. I watched a whole web series on TV. I felt perfect about the entire experience. For the last five years, my life has been hectic. I work on weekdays, and on weekends, I hustle to earn money. I never take office offers from my office because I have to build my career.
So that day was a free day off because I got the salary for that day, and the company had to give me a free day off because of the flood. So that day, I enjoyed it a lot after a very long time. I spent quality time with my family, and that day’s memories will remain in my heart.
