IELTS WRITING TASK 2
Some argue that teaching children of different abilities together benefits them. Others believe that intelligent children should be taught separately and given special treatment. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
SAMPLE ANSWER
There is an ongoing debate about whether teaching pupils together is advantageous amid all of them; however, others deem that bright students should be taught alone or given all their attention by teachers. I firmly support the latter viewpoint and will corroborate my opinion ultimately after discussing either of the views in the forthcoming paragraph.
On the one hand, one school of thought is that taught learners of different categories should help others, owing to which they develop their ideas and abilities in their curriculum. To illustrate, if students study and do different types of tasks together, they all learn and also try hard to achieve that ability like others. Moreover, some pupils have sharp minds. They do all work intelligently. As a result, work is done effectively and efficiently.
On the other hand, the opponents concur that, including myself, brilliant children should be taught separately because not everyone has the same prospect and abilities in the same field. Moreover, children sharpen their work if the tutor pays attention to them and correct on that time when they do wrong. At the same time, correction must be helpful for them, and it is necessary to raise these students; for example, a survey conducted by Oxford University found that educational institutions that choose category systems according to their pupil’s intelligence have great results compared to the who taught one category to all the students.
In conclusion, although youngsters are taught together to develop their skills and work intelligently, others and I deem that bright should be led provided complex material. It will help them sharpen their ability and achieve their desired goal.
