Sample 1

Being a busy person, I do not watch many TV programs. However, whenever I have free time, I watch a program called Shark Tank India; this program is about finding investors for your good ideas.

So, in the shark tank, various sharks are there, who are big business people who have a bottle of money, so they listen to your product and your pitch and, by asking a few questions, come to this conclusion about whether they should invest in your business or not.

I watch it alone because it is a program only a few people interested in business would like to watch. In my family, other members want to watch programs related to fashion, sports, and, as far as Shark Tank is concerned. I’m the only one who watches it, and I watch it for various reasons.

The first and foremost is knowledge. The business world has changed a lot in the last 10 years. This program provided me with details because before watching it, I believed that if you want money for your business, you must take a loan or go for public funding.

Still, here I have learned through this program that if you want cash for your business, rather than taking it alone and having a big set-up of going for a public issue, you can sell in your company at 5%, 10%. For that, you get enough money.

Another thing is that it has increased my knowledge of vocabulary a lot. Now I know business terms like “Tat and Ebidta”. These kinds of terms were previously unknown to me. Lastly, this program is one such program that encourages me to think beyond the conventional domain because very new ideas are presented in the show, so that’s why I like it.
