Sample 1

Being a food enthusiast, I have tried different kinds of foreign foods, but one is especially enhanced. It is worth mentioning. It is a dip by the name of hummus. I tried it for the first time two years back when I visited a Lebanese restaurant in Mumbai.

I like it for many reasons. First of all, it is an excellent alternative to mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is used in various cooking items, but it is full of calories and unsuitable for our gut health because it produces harmful bacteria. On the contrary, hummus is very healthy and nutritious because it comprises sesame seeds, yoghurt, and chickpeas.

All the ingredients are in. It is full of protein and other essential nutrients. It has become an integral part of my food list because whenever I’m craving something, I cut the salad instead of eating some high-calorie item. I eat it with hummus, so it is tasty and nutritious.

Another reason why I feel good about it because it has helped me get praise from my dear ones. Instead of purchasing it from the market, I make it at home, so whenever guests are at my house, I serve them. They like this special dish, and they appreciate my culinary skills.

Follow-ups

1. Do most people like to eat the food they are familiar with or try new food?

Foreign foods are very popular, with Chinese food being the most popular. Items like cheese, chilli, Manchurian noodles, and spring rolls are extremely popular in my country. Apart from that, Italian food is also popular; people love to eat pizza and pasta, and lastly, American food items like burgers and nuggets are also extremely popular.

2. What kinds of foreign food are popular in your country?

Most people like to try new food because the food they are familiar with sounds boring to them after some time, so they love to expand their taste buds by trying the mouthwatering delicacies of other nations or other cultures in my country.

3. Do you like to cook at home?

Yes, I like to cook at home because cooking makes me feel good. I am doing well for my gut health whenever I cook, because outside food is counterproductive. Secondly, not all food items are available in the market. So whenever I am in the mood to experiment or try foreign food, I love to cook at home.

4. Is it expensive to eat out in your country?

For now, eating out in my country is not expensive because a range of restaurants are available. So, if you want to eat on a low budget, you can have food on food cards. They serve mouthwatering Delhi dishes at reasonable prices. If your budget is a bit high, you can go to a typical restaurant that charges more than the food cart but provides a good sitting space. If you have a big budget, you can find dining restaurants where you get the best service and ambience.
