For many people, the reason they work hard is to earn money. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

SAMPLE ANSWER

Earning money is the ideal way to work hard. So while I accept people do hard work to make money, I acknowledge that people do work hard for other reasons.

There are two main reasons people work hard to earn money. One of the prominent reasons is that people will make more money if they work hard. Because they can buy everything without considering the price and do not take a loan from the bank, they enjoy a more comfortable life than those who spend less time on work. In addition to this, money is essential for a happy life. It is because when people do not have money, they cannot provide all facilities to families regarding food, clothes, expensive cars, and good education for children. So they do work hard.

Moreover, people work hard to get a life promotion instead of thinking about money. If they do more work, they will give more positive results to a boss. As a result, they feel more positive in life. In the USA, for example, 70% of people get promotions because of their hard work.
Besides, people do work hard to complete fill goals in life. To justify, without hard work, people can neither get success nor fame in the world because of neck-to-neck competition. For example, players who want to get the first position in sports matches do a lot of hard work in life, taking training, exercising, and eating healthy food.

In conclusion, although people work hard to earn money, they do more work to get promotions and achieve life goals.
