People now have the freedom to work and live anywhere in the world due to the development of communication technology and transportation. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
Sample Answer 1
In this contemporary epoch, many people have the freedom to survive and work in any part of the world because of developments in technology and transportation. This essay will argue that the advantages of this outweigh the drawbacks. The essay will first demonstrate that it leads to better lifestyle and career opportunities are the main advantages of this, followed by an analysis of how the primary drawback, they detach from their culture, is not valid.
The main reason is that it provides different career opportunities for people. Many live in rural areas worldwide, with few opportunities to grow further. Many individuals have different skills, but they need the right place and opportunity to use them. So, some people find great options to start their career in different nations. Moreover, it leads to a better lifestyle. It helps people to earn money and create an opulent lifestyle for themselves. They can earn substantial money by working in foreign countries rather than staying in one place. For instance, many doctors complete their studies in India and later move to America for good earnings and a better lifestyle.
Those opposing it say that individuals can be detached from their culture because they will adapt to a foreign culture. Few people tend to follow the culture of foreign countries when they start living there. However, they can follow their traditions while living in different nations, such as wearing traditional clothes, following their rituals and celebrating cultural festivals. Canada is a prime example of an immigrant country, and there are people from all over the world who follow their traditions and culture. It has worship places for all of the religions.
To conclude, the fact people can have better lifestyles and career opportunities outweighs the argument that individuals can detach from their culture.
