There is no denying this conviction that accidents are a part of life, and sometimes people break things unintentionally. In this contemporary epoch, busy lifestyles and lack of attention often become a pressing problem. Here, I would like to talk about a time when I broke something accidentally.A few months ago, I accidentally broke a glass flower vase at my home.
It was placed on a table in the living room and was quite expensive. At that time, I was cleaning the room and moving some items from one place to another. While shifting the table slightly, I accidentally touched the vase, and it fell on the floor and broke into pieces.
There is no denying this conviction that initially I felt shocked and nervous because the vase was one of my mother’s favourite decorative items. Moreover, it had emotional value for my family.
In this contemporary epoch, people are often in a hurry, which sometimes leads to carelessness and unfortunate incidents.Afterward, I immediately cleaned the broken pieces carefully to avoid injury. Then, I apologised to my family members and later bought a new vase to replace it.
Although my family understood that it was an accident, I still felt guilty for some time because I had not handled the item carefully. All things considered, the incident taught me the importance of being more attentive and responsible while handling delicate things.
