  • Being a music enthusiast, I have this habit of listening to my favourite piece of music, not only when I am happy but also when I am depressed.

  • One line from a song I vividly remember is “ALL IS WELL” from a music track of a Bollywood movie named “3 IDIOTS‘.

How did you know about it?

  • A few years ago, my life was going through a lean patch. I was finding it quite challenging to focus on my study and work, and I developed this inherent feeling that I would not be able to succeed in my life.
  • One day while watching the television, I came across this particular line from the song, which immediately caught my attention. 

How you feel about it

  • After decoding the meaning of this line, my life changed drastically.
  • This line tells you to trick your brain by giving a command called “ALL IS WELL”.
  • Through this technique, a person can change his mindset, and instead of overthinking, he can focus on his work.

Apart from this, when going through a lean patch through motivational songs, you can boost your morale and lead your life towards impressive growth. On the contrary, when you go through a purple patch, these songs help you remain humble, which people can learn from songs or poems.

6. Do you think it is easier for children to learn a song or poem than adults?

I believe it’s very easy for children to learn a song or a poem at a tender age. When we are kids or teenagers, it is easy for us to memorise things because we do not have to store many things in our brains. In contrast, when we grow adults, we have to keep many things in our minds, so that’s why it is easy for children. It’s become easy to learn songs or poems, and with age, interest changes, so when we are children, we have more interest towards songs, which is another reason.

7. Do you think children would like the rhythm of songs or poems?

Children like the rhythm of songs or poems because, in childhood, they have a limited vocabulary, so big songs and poems could be a problem for them, so that’s why they try their hand at rhythm, and when they follow it, it becomes easy for them to identify the song.

8. Are you good at memorising things?

Yes, I am very good at things, which is a natural ability. It is essential that I haven’t done anything special to nurture it, so much so is my memory. I remember details of my first school when I was five years old, and I have information about every class I studied regarding my teachers and classmates. So I can say that I am good at memorising things.
