Introduction

Being a learning enthusiast, I have joined many online and offline courses. However, one of them is exceptional, and hence it is worth mentioning.

When did you join it?

Two years back, the world experienced the coronavirus pandemic, which led to the closure of schools and colleges. During that time, I joined a cooking course through an online medium.

Why did you join it?

I joined it for many reasons. First and foremost that time, I was free, and spending leisure time was a daunting task. So it is prudent to learn something to help me throughout my life. I joined a free course initially, but I needed more information. So finally, I joined an online class where the tutor was a seasoned chef.

The second reason was to improve my health. I had this uncanny knack for eating outside food, so my health suffered a lot. I acquired culinary skills to cook healthy food to improve my physical fitness.

What did you learn during the course?

I learned many things during the course. Firstly I learned to cook various cuisines like Indian, Chinese, Thai, Muglai and Continental.

Apart from this, I gained immense nutrition knowledge, which helped me understand the correct cooking process to maintain the nutritional value of various food items.

Lastly, it helped me to present the food beautifully.

Why did you like it?

I liked it for many reasons. Firstly it enhanced my cooking knowledge and made me a seasoned chef from a novice.

Moreover, it helped me to make effective use of my spare time.
