Introduction

Being a voracious traveller, I love to explore new places. Recently I visited a city and the time spent over there would always remain etched in our memories.

Name of the city?

The city’s name is Chandigarh,people also call it The City Beautiful.

Where is it located?

It lies in the northern part of India. It is the capital of two states of India: Punjab and Haryana.

What did you do there?

I went there for spending the weekend. This city lies in the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to this reason, the temperature remains moderate for most of the year.

Being a food enthusiast, I started my day by eating mouth-watering delicacies to pamper my appetite.

After that, I visited the famous Rose Garden. I saw an immense variety of different kinds of flowers. It is spread over 20 acres, and I felt I was in the arms of nature.

Thereafter I visited the world-famous Rock Garden. There I saw what the human mind conceive and believe it can achieve.

The whole area of The Rock Garden is made from waste products. It sets the right precedent for society to use the junk in our homes.

In the evening, I visited Sukhna Lake for boating over there.

I ended my trip by visiting the famous Sector 17 market, and I had done shopping over there.

Chandigarh is a planned city with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Whenever I will get a chance, I visit it again to gain more information.
