Introduction:

There is no denying this conviction that gifting flowers to others on special occasions is prudent, as most people love to receive them. 

One of my bosom friends, Andrew, recently surprised me by gifting me a flower.

Andrew and I studied together in college, and for some reason, we stopped talking. However, I always missed him on special occasions such as festivals and birthday parties.

We used to do umpteen activities together, such as studying and playing together, and three years with him was a gala time for both of us.

His absence from my life was like a nail in the coffin, and I tried hard to contact him without success because, being an introverted person, he didn’t create any profile on social media platforms.

When was it? And Why was it gifted?

I got a surprise on my birthday when someone knocked on my door. To my joy, It was Andrew, and he was carrying a rose flower with him. Seeing him was a moment of euphoria for me.

He told me he missed me a lot, and through my birthday, he wanted to bridge the gap between us.

The flower he brought had a pleasing aroma, and their presence made my room look vibrant. The fragrance lasted for many days.

The quality time spent with Andrew on my birthday will always remain etched in my memories. And after that day, I preferred a bunch of peonies because they gave a lively feeling instead of giving other gifts to my near and dear ones.
