I would like to talk about a time when I was stuck in a terrible traffic jam while traveling to Delhi for an important business meeting.

This incident happened around six months ago. I was traveling by car from Chandigarh to Delhi early in the morning because I had to attend a client meeting in the afternoon. Initially, everything was going smoothly, but after entering the Delhi border area, the traffic became extremely heavy.

There had been a road accident along with ongoing construction work on the highway, which created a massive traffic jam. Vehicles were moving very slowly, and at some points, everything completely stopped.

I was stuck there for almost three hours, which felt incredibly frustrating. Since the meeting was important, I became very stressed and anxious about reaching late. I kept checking the time repeatedly and tried to contact the client to inform them about the delay.

The worst part was the heat, noise, and pollution around the road. Many people were honking continuously, which made the situation even more irritating. Some drivers were trying to break traffic rules and overtake others, which further increased the chaos.

However, I tried to stay calm by listening to music and making a few important phone calls during the wait. Eventually, the traffic started moving slowly, and I finally reached my destination much later than expected.

This experience made me realize how serious traffic problems have become in big cities. Since then, I always try to leave earlier and check traffic updates before traveling
